Navitime recognizes that privacy is important. This Privacy Policy (referred to as the "Policy") applies to all of the services and web sites which are provided, hosted or served by Navitime. "Navitime" means NAVITIME JAPAN CO., LTD., whose principal place of business is at Minami Aoyama Tokyu Bldg. 3-8-38 Minami Aoyama Minato-ku, Tokyo 107-0062 Japan.

1. Personal Information
1.1 Communications. When you send email or other communication to Navitime, Navitime may use and retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve Navitime services.
1.2 Credit Card Information. When you use the charged services that require your payments, you need to provide your credit card information. Navitime entrusts GMO with the transaction related to credit cards payments, including the data transmission, data reception, data transaction, etc. "GMO" means GMO Payment Gateway, Inc., whose principal place of business is at Shibuya Square A, 1-9-5, Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Japan.
1.3 Access Log. When you use Navitime services, Navitime servers automatically record information of server transactions. Such information is generally called as "Access Logs". Access Logs may include information such as your web request, internet protocol address, browser type, browser language and/or the date and time of your request.
1.4 Cookies. When you visit Navitime web sites through browsers of certain devices (such as personal computers), Navitime sends one or more cookies to such devices. "Cookies" is a small file containing a string of characters. Navitime uses cookies so that Navitime can uniquely identify your device and improve the quality of Navitime services. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is sent to you. In such cases, however, Yon may not use some functions of Navitime services.
1.5 Other Web Sites. This Policy applies to web sites and services controlled or operated by Navitime. Navitime has no control over any external web site or resource linked from hyperlinks contained on or in Navitime web sites or services.
1.6 You may decline to submit personal information to any of Navitime services. In such cases, some Navitime services may not be provided to you.

2. Information Use
2.1 Navitime processes personal information only for the purposes described in this Policy and follows:
(a) Providing Navitime services to users, including the display of customized contents;
(b) Auditing, researching and analyzing in order to maintain, protect and improve Navitime services; and
(c) Developing new Navitime services.
2.2 If Navitime use your personal information for any purpose other than those for which it is collected or which are described in this Policy, Navitime shall ask for your consent prior to such use.

3. Security and Confidentiality
3.1 Navitime restricts access to personal information to Navitime directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents who need to know such information for the purposes described in this Policy and for operation, development or improvement of Navitime services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations to Navitime.
3.2 Navitime takes appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized disclosure, alteration or destruction of personal information. These include internal reviews of information collection, storage and transaction practices and measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to Navitime systems.

4. Information Disclosure
4.1 When you use the charged services, Navitime notifies GMO and credit card issuers of your subscriber identity module card (SIM card) number.
4.2 Navitime shares personal information with other companies and individuals outside of Navitime in the following circumstances:
(a) Navitime has your consent;
(b) Navitime provides personal information to trusted businesses or persons for the purpose of processing personal information on Navitime's behalf. Navitime requires that those businesses and persons agree to process such information in accordance with Navitime's instruction and in compliance with this Policy
(c) Navitime has a good faith belief that sharing personal information is reasonably necessary to (i) satisfy any applicable law, regulation or governmental order, (ii) enforce the Navitime Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations thereof, or (iii) protect against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of Navitime, its licensors or its users.

5. Changes to this Policy
5.1 This Policy may be changed or updated by Navitime from time to time without notice to you. You shall check this Policy from time to time to see if any such changes or updates have been made and shall read such changes or updates, if any.
